Aisle guide
Cans
The first of two canned-goods aisles. The directory lists it as canned goods and jam, so tins and jars that are not soup tend to land here rather than in aisle 2. Shelf 1D is the only letter confirmed on camera here, which makes this one of the smallest aisles — a good early stop when you are still learning the difference between the two Cans aisles.

Clear aisle 1 faster
- Aisles 1 and 2 are both called Cans, so a tin that is rejected by one shelf usually belongs on the other.
- Jars and tins look alike from a distance — read the label before you walk, because a wrong drop costs you the return trip.
- Decision tree vs aisle 2: if it is a soup tin (Tomato, Mushroom, Pumpkin, Green Pea, Tuna, Chili), try aisle 2 first. If it is jam, corn, or a generic canned good with no soup label, try aisle 1. When one shelf rejects it, walk to the other Cans aisle before assuming a third destination.
