How Long to Beat Clean the Supermarket?

   OTTER's solo run opens on a store buried in stock: the HUD counts 1,603 items across 199 shelves and the timer is already at 1:49. You can carry only four items at first, so the early minutes move a handful of points at a time.

   Check the Store Directory before committing to a route

   The in-store directory lists every aisle from Produce to Dairy. Knowing where each category lives saves backtracking across the whole run — the creator checks the boards in the opening minutes and splits the store into sections.

   Spend early points on upgrades that buy time

   The Upgrades menu turns points into pace. The Price Scanner (90 points) highlights every copy of the item you are looking at, and carry-capacity upgrades raise the four-item starting limit. This frame sits at 447 items placed with 144 points banked.

   A quarter of the store at around 44 minutes

   The HUD reads 393 of 1,603 items at the 44-minute mark — about a quarter of the run. Most products have four copies each, so finishing one item type at a time keeps the counter climbing without extra trips.

   The first hour ends at 600 items

   Crossing one hour with 600 of 1,603 items placed and 56 of 199 shelves stocked is normal solo pace. The creator's method at this stage: hunt one product at a time and spam-click once the first box lands on the right shelf.

   Halfway lands at about 1 hour 11 minutes

   The 50% checkpoint arrives with 778 items on the shelves at 1:10:56. The second half is the slower one: small items like garlic and mushrooms hide in plain sight, so the creator keeps rotating categories to stay efficient.

   The 1,000th item lands just before 1:20

   Just shy of the 1-hour-20 timer, the run passes 1,000 items placed. By this point the Auto-Stocker — unlocked at 350 items — quietly shelves duplicates while the player hunts the last copies of each product.

   75 percent at about 1 hour 34 minutes

   The HUD reads 1,196 of 1,603 items at 1:34:26. The narration counts roughly 400 items left — mostly drinks, seasonings, cans and dairy, the lookalike categories the creator saves for last.

   The last items land just under 2 hours

   The final stretch sits at the 1:55:25 timer with 1,602 of 1,603 items and 196 of 199 shelves — three placements from the exit. The creator places the last item, calls the run "almost exactly 2 hours", and the door unlocks.

    The chain comes off and the badges stack up

    Finishing unlocks the chained exit and the completion badges at once: YouCleaned the Supermarket!, Quick Stepper and Clock Chaser. There is no closing cutscene — just the way out and a lobby leaderboard waiting.

    The lobby boards show what a fast clear looks like

    Back in the lobby, this run's completion toast reads 1:55:21. The FASTEST CLEANS board logs far quicker clears — the narration cites a roughly seven-minute record — and the MOST WINS board shows players with 19 finishes.
