How this tier list is ranked

One question decides everything: how often does the upgrade fire during a shift? The loop is pick up, walk, place, repeated hundreds of times across 199 shelves. Anything that removes a search or a trip beats anything that shortens one. These are community rankings, not official game stats — the game publishes no numbers for any upgrade.

S Tier — buy on sight

Solve the problem that actually costs you time: finding things. Price Scanner highlights every copy of an item at once, X-Ray tells you which shelf you are looking for.
