Clean the Supermarket Badges Guide — All 8 Badges Explained

Eight badges, three categories

Clean the Supermarket awards eight Roblox badges. They split cleanly into three groups: four progress milestones that track how much of the store you have shelved, one completion badge for a full clean, and three speed badges with hard time limits. None of them require Robux — they drop from normal play once you know what each one is asking for.

The full list with win rates and award counts lives on our Badges page. This guide walks through how to earn each one in a sensible order, and where the speed badges diverge from a casual shift.

Progress badges: Your First Shelf through 75% Complete

These four badges fire automatically as you shelve items correctly. You do not need to do anything special beyond keeping WRONG SHELF messages to a minimum — every rejected placement is a wasted trip that slows your percentage climb.

Your First Shelf! is the tutorial badge. Fill one shelf with its matching items and it drops within your first few minutes. If you are brand new, pick up the largest object you can see — a bakery loaf from aisle 8 is almost impossible to miss — and walk it to the glowing green shelf.

25% Complete! means a quarter of all 1603 items are back where they belong. At this stage, buy Carry Capacity early. More slots per trip means fewer walks across the store, which is the main lever for reaching 25% before boredom sets in.

50% Complete! is the halfway mark, and where route planning starts to matter. Work zone by zone: clear the front aisles (1–5) before crossing to the back. Every diagonal run across the store costs time you could spend shelving. If you are stuck guessing aisles, browse the full item list between shifts to build the mental map.

75% Complete! is the home stretch badge. By now you should have Move Speed and ideally Auto-Sort unlocked. The remaining aisles — especially 11 Dairy and 12 Beverages — are full of small, similar-looking cartons. The finding upgrades you bought earlier pay off here because the floor is less cluttered but individual items are harder to spot.

You Cleaned the Supermarket!

This is the completion badge, and it requires every item in the store on its correct shelf. Only about 0.17% of players own it, which tells you how long a full clean actually takes without optimized upgrades and a planned route.

The practical approach is a front-then-back sweep: open with bakery (aisle 8), seafood (10), and meat (9) for quick shelf completions, work through produce and the middle aisles, and leave beverages (12) for last when you have X-Ray or Price Scanner to handle the small bottles. A squad in one server helps because multiple players can cover different zones simultaneously — but coordination matters, because two people shelving the same aisle is wasted overlap.

Speed badges: Clock Chaser, Quick Stepper, Speed Runner

The three speed badges are where casual play and optimized play diverge sharply. Each one requires finishing a full clean within a time limit:

  • Clock Chaser — under 3 hours
  • Quick Stepper — under 2 hours
  • Speed Runner — under 1 hour

Clock Chaser is achievable solo with all the key finding upgrades and a route you have run before. Avoid idling between aisles — the timer does not pause when you are standing at the upgrades menu or checking the store directory.

Quick Stepper demands a tighter zone route, full carry loads every trip, and zero wrong-shelf placements. Every WRONG SHELF is a return walk that can cost thirty seconds or more. At this level, you should know aisle numbers by heart and batch items by zone before you walk.

Speed Runner is the rarest badge in the game — under 0.05% of players own it. It needs every upgrade purchased, a memorized item-to-aisle map, and ideally a squad helping in one server so different zones get cleared in parallel. We have a dedicated Speed Runner badge guide that breaks down the exact purchase order, route, and squad roles for a sub-one-hour attempt.

Which badge should you chase first?

If you are new, ignore the speed badges entirely until you have You Cleaned the Supermarket! Progress badges drop naturally; completion teaches you the store; speed is a post-completion challenge.

Recommended priority:

  1. Your First Shelf! and 25% Complete! — happen automatically in your first session
  2. 50% Complete! and 75% Complete! — buy finding upgrades and plan your route
  3. You Cleaned the Supermarket! — full clean with a front-then-back strategy
  4. Clock Chaser — first speed target once completion feels routine
  5. Quick Stepper and Speed Runner — only after you can complete under three hours reliably

Upgrades that help every badge

Two upgrades matter across all badge categories:

  • Price Scanner highlights every copy of the item you are holding. In a store with 1603 items, finding beats walking every time.
  • X-Ray shows which shelf accepts what you are carrying. It eliminates the guesswork that causes WRONG SHELF messages.

Buy those before Movement Speed, Carry Capacity, or Auto-Sort. The upgrade tier list explains why finding tools sit in S tier while movement upgrades sit in B.

Tracking your progress

Roblox shows earned badges on your profile, and the in-game badge popup fires the moment you qualify. If you are grinding toward a speed badge, note your start time when the store loads and check the in-game clock against the limits above.
